Latest Projects:

The Architecture Department recently completed work on a tenant fit-up for Pilot Studios for their New Office Space in Boston’s Seaport area. This Studio consist of a very modern open floor plan concept with raised Lounge in the middle of the Studios to visually divide long and narrow space. The Conference Room has floor to ceiling glass walls to have a very contemporary yet informal feeling. The Studio has cozy booth areas to provide space for one on one conversation. The work space areas are divided in to three smaller areas by design elements rather than walls. The renovation area is approximately 6,500 SF.

The Architecture Department is also working on interior renovation to a five-story building for a New State of the Art facility for Chandra Observatory. This project consists of a renovation for a new Mission Critical Operations Control Center for the Chandra X-ray Telescope that is in outer space.  It was designed to have Mission Critical Areas including Control Room with Viewing Area, Lobby and Waiting Area to accommodate a large group of people, Conference Room, Library and sixty Offices to support the operations. The renovation area is approximately 29,000 SF.

In addtion, the Architecture Department has also just recently completed two (2) new First Citizens Federal Credit Union Banks in Hanover and Plymouth, MA and is working with the Greener Group on a new 20,000 sf building containing (3) contractor garage rental units and a repair maintenance facility for an earthwork company.  Other projects the architecture group have completed include a 5,000 sf addition and renovation to an existing office facility for Vermeer Northeast, a warehouse racking solution for a new 30,000 sf  warehouse space for Partarre Flooring and a reconfiguration of Bill & Bob’s Roast Beef in order to allow for a second building and allow both buildings to have drive-thru’s.

Not only does our Structural Department continues to make strides in the telecommunication industry, we’re also making an impact in the construction industry. Our Structural Department provides services for Structural Engineering, Cold Formed Steel Engineering, as well as Façade Engineering for Metal Panel Systems. Our engineers, designers, and project managers work together to complete various tasks for commercial and residential buildings, for both private and public clients, including but not limited to; K-12 Schools, University Buildings & Dormitories, Hospitals & Nursing Homes, Hotels, High Rise Apartments, Single Family Homes, Retail Stores, Banks, Dealerships, Restaurants, Sport Facilities, etc.  Some of our completed projects from 2019 include:

The Telecommunications Department continues to support all the major telecom carriers on the expansion and refinement of their networks.

And lastly, our Civil Department –which recently completed several projects for Volta, Electrify America and Tesla is very excited about the future of the electric vehicles, where the potential for the future is immense.  HDG continues to provide storm water analysis and design for various projects we work on throughout the office, including our solar and telecommunications clients.
